Why I Don’t Invest in Stocks – And What I Do Instead

Let’s cut straight to it: I don’t invest in the stock market.

Not because it doesn’t work. It works—for some people.

But I’m playing a different game—the game of ownership, control, and scalable cash flow.

The stock market? That’s passive.
And I’m not here to be passive.

Why I Don’t Invest in Stocks – And What I Do Instead

Why I Built Main Street Hustlers

We built Main Street Hustlers for a reason.

Look around: giants like Amazon, Walmart, Meta, BlackRock—and let’s be honest, anything Elon touches—are swallowing up every piece of the market they can.

They’re buying or building everything to own the entire customer journey.

Think your small business is safe?
Think again.

Whether you run:

  • A five-truck HVAC company
  • A restaurant
  • A plumbing business

the big guys want your:

  • Customers
  • Contracts
  • Margins

They’ve got:

  • Capital
  • Tools
  • Time

The Real Reason We Exist

Main Street Hustlers isn’t just a name.
It’s a mission.

I started this company because I lived that struggle.

I almost lost everything.
Not once.
Twice.

And I didn’t bounce back by waiting for miracles.

Yes—faith was part of it.
But prayer without action?
That’s just panic with your eyes closed.

  • Worked

  • Learned

  • Failed

  • Took painful steps
…because the alternative was dying broke.

I’ve had nights I couldn’t sleep, wondering:

  • How to pay bills

  • How to make payroll

  • How to save a deal from falling apart

If you’re there now—I see you.
I’ve been there.

Now, I still grind.
But not just to survive.
Now I grind to beat Wall Street at its own game.

What I Do With My Money Instead

We operate more like a private equity firm, not a stock portfolio.

But here’s the twist:

  • We don’t raise capital.

  • We use our own money.

  • We don’t aim for 10–15% returns.

  • We aim for exponential growth, tax efficiency, and control.

Here’s what we do:

  • We don’t take payouts

  • We reinvest

  • We buy businesses

  • We build systems

  • We partner with operator

  • We stay liquid and strike fast when the right opportunity comes

We’re not looking to go public.
We’re looking to own the businesses the public depends on.

What I Value More Than Expensive Steak and Wine

You won’t catch me in some fancy steakhouse sipping overpriced wine and debating market theories.

I’d rather be:

  • Sitting on a folding chair

  • At a taco truck

  • Eating carne asada

  • Drinking black coffee

  • Having a real conversation with a business owner grinding to stay alive

That’s where the real wealth is.
That’s where the opportunity is.
That’s who I build with.
